Importable finds of the week, now from the Netherlands

This is a special edition. These 25+ year old vehicles aren’t found on German Ebay, they’re found on a Dutch site with a range of 75 km around my home. I was surprised by the quality findings. I capped the finds at a €4k asking price.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! pickup truck. ‘Very hard’, as in, not rusty. According to the seller. RHD, sadly. €3750

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (convertible). Minor rear damage. The stalkless dash is a work of insanity art. €1750.

Continuing with red convertibles with an interesting dash, but now a very different one. A !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . With a digital dash! 9.0 seconds 0-62 mph was rather respectable for a 4 cylinder compact convertible back in the day. Pay attention to the cars in the background. €1150

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with a 3.5L Iveco diesel engine. Only sold as a set, for €3950. An utter bargain, I guess.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , wagon (and manual, obviously). Good condition inside and out. €1950.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Runs and drives well, rust under the poor vinyl roof. €1999.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Floor is hard, apparently, but it will need some work. €2200.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Lots of add ons. LHD. Said to be in good condition, offered by a classic Mini specialist. €3500

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . First year of the GTI. Quite rare nowadays. Recent French import. €2150. Again, note the vehicles in the background.

And last: a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . A pristine turbo diesel, recently imported from France. €3500.

The rest of the car looks remarkably good, considering. I’d want to have a good hard look at the sills, a pillars and all the rest of it, though. The car is still advertised at the dealer , but I doubt that means it’s still available.

The BX is cool, if your culture/age allows you to look beyond the ‘Flodder’ vibe

The Mini, the 110 Pickup, and the 505 are all calling my name. The 505 is a bad idea, and Minis are a dime a dozen, but that Defender is giving me fits, even in RHD.

I’d take everything from the Capri onward.....just can’t find these cars in the US. (My wife says she’ll kill me if I even think about a BX or XM Citroen, though a DS would be fine with her.)

The oldest Audi 80 Avants I could find are from the summer of 1991, so slightly over 1 year too new to be imported into the US. They’re an interesting suggestion though. The S2 is even newer and unlike the €1k 80 Avants still very expensive.
